When I decided to retire in 2016 I thought I could learn to play the cello. Without too much music background and knowledge, unfortunately, I quickly discovered that I would not be the next YO-YO MA.

Then came another idea. Why not attempt painting? I registered at the Art School of Columbia County, about a mile from where I live, this was the beginning of a wonderful journey.

Painting very quickly became a great passion , and with the help and dedication of very talented teachers I was able to progress. Painting was always in my DNA. It has given inner peace and has open my eyes to the beauty of all nature and the world around us.

My favorite mediums are oil and pastels.
