A Community for Creative Growth

the Art School of Columbia County is a non-profit 501(C)(3), non-academic art center, where people of all ages - adults, retirees, parents, children, and teens - can discover and grow their creativity. Art education is a proven way to strengthen minds, build confidence, and bring people together. It inspires self-expression in both children and adults, keeps older minds sharp and engaged, and offers everyone a safe place to explore, learn, create, and connect. The school welcomes everyone, regardless of background or financial means, and offers scholarships to ensure that cost in never a barrier to participation.

Four Ways to Support the School

• Donations: Financial gifts not only help secure our future, but they also let us plan ahead and operate from a place of security vs. uncertainty. Your gifts, help with building and property maintenance, assist in promotional efforts, support local artists and staff salaries, outreach to underserved communities, and maintain a scholarship fund for those in need.
• Monthly giving: Is the heartbeat of non-profits and helps to keep them alive and thriving. Your ongoing support means steady income we can count on. Monthly giving lowers the time and expense of fundraising and its associated administrative costs, allowing us more time to inspire our community through art, class programing and events. Even a $10 monthly gift adds up to lasting impact. Please join our circle of monthly supporters and help us focus our energy on the stuff that really matters! Transforming Lives Through Art!
• Membership: Designed for those taking or planning to take classes. Members can participate in our Annual Member Show held in November. Members also receive a 10% discount in local Art Supply Stores and will receive the advantages of early registration to popular classes, and special events.
• Volunteering: Volunteers generously share their skills and time, helping with class support, events, and operations - deepening the school's ties to the community.
